Bo the Brave by Bethan Woollvin

I'm mostly familiar with Woollvin's fairy tale retellings, so this was entirely new to me!  With fun, bright colors, and her usual incredible art style, we're introduced to Bo, who wants nothing more than to fight monsters on her own.  The problem?  She's too small!  But no worries, she can easily find some monsters to pummel...until she realizes that they're actually pretty nice!  I'm not entirely convinced that this is as strong as her other work, but it's so fresh to me and adorable that I really can't complain!  Great for grades PreK-2.
