Another good installment of the American Royals series. It definitely took me awhile to get into the book, but once I was in it was a quick read. This one may be my least favorite of the three though; it felt like a filler book between bigger plot points.
It was interesting, and nice, to see Beatrice get to interact with her peers that are her age; this is really the first time she’s been indicated to having (or making) friends, which is incredibly lonely.
The Daphne/Nina plot was interesting, and briefly made me like Daphne, then the League of Kings after party happened and I’m right back at not liking her.
I am most curious about Samantha and Marshall in the next book; will they remain in Hawaii or come back to the states? Will their letter be taken as renunciation or will they be accepted back? Will they want to come back?
