Comic book issues #9-12. Lots of big reveals in this trade and more insight into the characters. I enjoy how Waid is slowly laying out how these heroes are all imperfect but are trying to keep up these facades. The art done by Krause and Barreto is simple yet expressive. They capture everyone's emotions in their faces. The fear and anger, the deep hurt. In a lot of ways, this story is about people feeling unappreciated and lonely. It's about everyone pretending to be something they aren't.
