Genuine Fraud follows our main character, Jule. It appears that Jule is running from something. And so the reader spends the whole book following along after Jule and trying to figure out what she’s done and what she’s running from. A name - Imogen - keeps popping up all over the story, deepening things, and the reader is led on a confusing and twisty tale of complicated friendships and fake identities.

I do feel as though I had been expecting something a little different from this book. What that was, I’m not quite entirely sure. But I do feel as though this book took a very different turn to what I was initially thinking I was going to get. Nevertheless, this book was interesting and I found the storyline really captivating. It was nice to be able to read something that held my attention and made me excited to read.
