Learning Curve
by Max Monroe
I’ve been reading Max Monroe for years, and my favorite couple of theirs is hands down Wes and Winnie, so finding out Finn is Winnie’s brother and that Ace, Thatch’s son, would be in this series, I knew I’d love it. See all the kids, all grown up, causing mischief, just makes me so happy. I love every moment of this book from start to finish, with Lexi being my favorite, but I also loved her as a child.
Finn and Scottie’s relationship is emotional, it’s heavy, and it’s never really light. These two make mistakes, have accidents, and overall cannot figure out how to be healthy for each other while dealing with childhood trauma for a while in the book. However, the love between these two is undeniable, they truly love each other, and maybe it’s their age, or their issues, they have to work for their happy ending.
I loved the secret society plot line of this book, one because I know it’ll continue in the future books, two because of Lexi, and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out. Ace and Julia are definitely going to have the best friends to lovers story, and I enjoy every cameo from my favorite Max Monroe characters from start to finish!
