I have to say, I read almost too much. I’m always picking up books for my Kindle and zipping through them in about a day. It’s rare that I actually get one that touches me, though. One that makes me slow down so I can fully take it in. One I finish with a “book hangover” where I have to wait before I can read another because this one actually got through and affected me. This is one of those books. I spend all my reading life looking for these books.
This book is deep. It’s ugly. It’s hard. It’s beautiful. Thank you for writing this story so eloquently and with such care. Now I’m going to go reread it because I can’t get over it so soon.
