This is the latest hockey romance to hit the scene and it delivers with the spice! Faking the shot is about the high heat, fake relationship between recently divorced PR strategist Valentina (who has sworn off love) and the bad boy hockey player Kaden Crawford that begins as a PR move to clean up Crawford’s reputation to keep him on the ice. As the stunt progresses, the line begins to blur between what’s fake and what feels real. This is a fun read and while the story follows a standard formula, that’s not a bad thing when it’s well done with likable characters and strong chemistry between the MCs
