Mariel of Redwall
by Brian Jacques
This is the fourth Redwall I have read and they do fall into the trap of being a bit samey. That being said, the immersive world is rich and vibrant with many delightful or menacing characters. There is a purity in a story where the heroes and the villains are clear and obvious and every species have their own speech patterns and mannerisms. This had a little more going on than the ones before it and still managed to remain unmuddled and linear.
