Out of all of the books in the Blessings, Georgia series, I feel like this one might have been the one to disappoint me the most. The main characters/love interests, Alice and Dan, didn't interest me. Their story wasn't striking any emotions from me like the past few books have. Majority of the story they are locked in Dan's house due to Hurricane Franny that comes through. Being in close proximity, they can't resist each other and their relationship grows faster than expected.

There was also a larger portion of the story that followed other characters' lives. This also happens in the other books but it felt like 2 stories in one book.
