Sometimes a Rogue by Mary Jo Putney
4.0

There’s a lot going on in this book.

There are mistaken identity twins- which leads to the heroine being kidnapped.

The hero rescues heroine and gets shipwrecked.

Hero washes ashore (injured) on his family estate to find his father and brother have died and he’s now the new earl - surprise.

Heroine says she’s hero’s fiancée because hero is unconscious. This leads to real feelings.

Hero finds out he has a daughter from his first love.

It worked for me but the plot was a bit cluttered.
