This was a good read by a for me new writer. The book started of like a sort of plot for a porno movie and I was wondering where the hell this was going. I loved the part where they tried to find eachother. And the chemistry and humor was great. I also loved that they communicated in the bedroom, and kitchen...and on the couch. That made for a trusting sexual relationship between domme Nadia and sub Simone. Yes, this is a light (maybe to light for me, the domme wasn’t domme enough for me at times) bdsm book. What lacked for me was intimate scenes out of the bedroom. Nadia never met Leah who is Simone’s best friend. I didn’t see Nadia and Simone just laying on the couch talking and watching a movie. I actually never really saw them just talking and looking at each other while talking about themselves. But maybe I missed that, because somewhere in the book Nadia brings Simone a cat and I was thinking why. Than Simones thinks of something and I remember that she lost her cat. It was mentioned once in the beginning of the book to us(I had to go back to read that) but I didn’t read anywhere that she told Nadia. So that was out of the blue for me. I never really got to know and feel Nadia and Simone.

One of the first hot scenes(actually I felt more intimacy in that scene than later on in the book) which was on the couch was disturbed by annoying cousin Darrin(if that was his name) who was Nadia’s roommate. Nadia is 38, she should not have a roommate!!! And the sexscenes where good, but what makes it hot for me is when they mourn and whimper ‘out loud’ with words. So that was totally lacking for me, especially with the last hot scene when they were gone for the weekend. So...... yeah I liked it okay, but it could have been great. 3,50 stars.
