Just finished this book, the first in a trilogy. On one hand it's nicely plotted, with three threads spanning hundreds of years all come together at the end and push the book straight toward a sequel. On the other hand, it's pretty comic book in places. I fun read, nothing deep and, yes, I'll be heading out to get the next in the series to find out what happens....
