A beautiful story of four generations of Korean immigrants struggling in unpredictable and harsh world.

This was such a unique and different read for me. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I devoured it.

Starting in 1919 and ending in 1989, we live through the tough times of four generations trying to survive and live the best life they can.

Themes of love, ambition, and sacrifice will make your heart break.

Life is unpredictable and can be harsh but beautiful as well.
