Daughters of Night by Laura Shepherd-Robinson

3.0

Book Rating: 6/10

I read Laura’s first book when it came out I believe in 2019 and thought it was enjoyable enough to pick up the follow-up book Daughters of Night. This book has a really slow start and it takes a while to get going. But like Laura’s first book I found it enjoyable. The characters are all well written. The era the book is set in is well researched which I appreciated as a fan of history. I didn't see the twist coming. Which made me happy. The world Laura created based on historical facts was brilliant it felt so real. My only real criticism is that we didn't find out what the fate of the main character will be. Maybe that's for the third book in this series? If Laura decides to do another book in this world. Will I pick up Laura’s next book? Most definitely.
