Women of Resistance: Poems for a New Feminism by Iris Mahan, Danielle Barnhart

1.0

I was sadly disappointed by this collection of poetry. I thought that most of it would be an enlightening call to action but unfortunately I felt that most of it went over my head and focused on different topics such a race, religion, and sexual assault. While I appreciated the importance of those topics, it was nothing I personally could relate to. I think if I were a minority, I could have gotten more out of this collection. In the end, I was simply left wanting more.
