This was good. Very pretentious, but I still enjoyed it. The introduction was so promising, but then the author was too vague throughout the book. The Library of Alexandria’s contents aren’t described, so I hope to find out what type of knowledge and secrets the Society is protecting in the next book. Also, I was hoping that the characters were more interested in the humanities, all they talk about is their own scientific theories. The last chapter was really good, but no plot line was resolved by the end. Everything was always so mysterious and imprecise that I still wonder if I know these characters enough for having spent that many hours reading about them. I’m just as lost as the characters are tbh.
