What If Love Is the Point?: Living for Jesus in a Self-Consumed World by Alexa Penavega, Carlos Penavega

4.0

This book was very eye opening for me and I enjoyed reading something different!

Alexa and Carlos talk about how they discovered God and how a bible study brought them together. They each have their own chapters and POVS. I found that Alexa was more descriptive and Carlos’ was more peppy, but they both went back and forth between timelines, which I found interesting!

I enjoyed learning about their childhoods and upbringings, although they also had some heartbreaking moments. Some parts were difficult and sad to read. In general, to learn how their lives and their marriage, it was an interesting read!
