So Christopher Moore really needs to make himself a bulletin board or something for his series to keep the characters' traits on, because he keeps having continuity errors.  Also, this has racist stereotypes, and the characters aren't even from where he's making fun of. Chinese speaking people are perfectly capable of pronouncing both R and L in English words.

This is the second installment in the Death Merchant series, I believe, and manages to profane numerous religions throughout the plot. Though I remain fond of several recurring characters, this has to be my least favourite plotline of his novels.
