I listened to this on audio book and it went by super fast. I like the older woman/younger man books for a change of pace, since I usually read regular age gaps.
I loved how obsessed Sarge was with the h and was pining for her for years. Jasmine just got on my nerves. I felt their connection and chemistry, buy it was pretty surface level. They hooked up way too fast. Jasmine never looked at her best friends brother that way before, but he hits on her and she immediately goes for it...at least sexually. At least that's how it felt. Would have appreciated more build up and slow burn to show her feelings for him growing. This just felt surface level, when it could have been better with a longer book.
