Moment in Time by Suzanne Redfearn

Did not finish book.
I DNF-ed.

I couldn't stand the narration in this book - the writing style was absolutely obnoxious. Things that were larger deals were completely skipped over and things that were incredibly small details were blown way up (I don't know a single person that would describe someone missing a portion of their finger in such great length over several pages regarding the way people might judge that character for losing the finger, and then completely blow over a van wrecking with ten people in it and put it only into a single paragraph). The attention and story development felt disproportionate in the details.

Everything was drama. The dialogue was cringe and unbelievable. I stopped reading before it actually got to the meat of the actual story, I couldn't do it. I realized I couldn't stand how dramatic the actual story might be. It was just too much.
