I have not read any other books by this author... I am not sure of the writing style in other books but this one was unique for me in a fiction book. It took me a little bit to settle into how it was flowing but once I did, I was interested in how the story was going to play out. This is a novella so we do not get a lot of information and I assume that if I had read any other books, I would get a better feel of the world as well as some information. However, I am interested in more Orcus and Our Lady's story.
