I Am Not Who You Think I Am by Eric Rickstad

4.0

Okay, that was a fun, dark, quick-paced book that had some messed up twists.

At eight years old, Wayland Maynard witnesses his father shooting himself in the head. We spend our time with Wayland when he's in his late teens and convinced that it wasn't his father who he saw that terrible day. He spends all of his time working to solve the mystery and, wow, what a twisted road he ends up traveling on.

I can't really say anything about the story itself due to spoilers but I will say that it was interesting and made me stop in my tracks a few times so I could focus all of my attention on the reading. I also spoke out loud to myself a lot which I'm sure was irritating to my wife who was working from home today...

Anyhoo, I totally dug this book and with Steven Weber as the narrator, I can absolutely recommend it.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the hook up!
