His To Keep by Vivian Wood

4.0

Another good read by Vivian Wood. I went into this book looking forward to meeting the hero and heroine. I was excited when I finally figured out that this is Sam's story. Sam is Ellie's (from His Best Friend's Little Sister) best friend. Sam and Conner meet the same day that Conner finds his fiance in a compromising position with another man. He propositions her to be his fake fiance so that he can keep his inheritance and get the COO job at his father's security firm. I was NOT a fan of Conner at first. I thought he was an a**, especially when it came to how he treated Sam. Yeah, I thought Sam was an idiot for going along with his proposition, but I can understand the temptation. Sam was perfect in her rule and she really wowed everyone. I kind of wish we could have gotten a little bit more of her background. We learned so much about Conner but not a whole lot about who Sam really was. In the end I fell in love with Conner and the idea of Conner and Sam having their HEA. Looking forward to getting their epilogue! I voluntarily read an advanced copy for an honest review.
