I’m not sure what genre to classify this book. I’ve never read anything quite like it. It was way deeper than I anticipated, and I thought at the beginning that the outcome would be rather as I expected. There were a few unexpected twists though. It was quite thought provoking. It was at times gripping and at times boring, but it was overall an interesting read.
Moderate: Child death, Death, Mental illness, Sexism, Sexual content, Suicidal thoughts, Terminal illness, Violence, Death of parent
Minor: Addiction, Alcoholism, Body shaming, Cancer, Car accident
