Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
5.0

This book was recommended at a conference I attended, and I found it to be a very enjoyable read! It has made me think about thinking in a whole new way--which is really good because as an elementary librarian, I believe it is my job to teach students how to think. This means I need to slow my thinking down to understand how I make decisions so that I can model and teach my students how to make decisions as well. I found myself seeing the things he talks about in his book in the conversations I have with my students. I highly recommend this book to other educators, as well as anyone else who is interested in decision theory. The writing style was very engaging and accessible, which surprised me coming from an author with a Nobel Prize in Economics.
