My Unexpected Vow by Harlow James

4.0

I was so excited to read Hayes and Waverly’s story. They had the best hate banter in book one. This book has fun witty banter, regarding open kitchen cabinets and drawers, to leaving pen caps off. With a tequila infused wedding with a singing Elvis, to fake dating in order for Hayes to make his Dad see he is fit to take over the family business as CEO, to Waverly coming into her own, getting to prove herself as a designer.

While they go from married, to roommates, to friends, to lovers their connection will make you laugh, cry, want to yell, and then melt your heart.

Favorite quote:

“I’m sorry I never saw you before this. I’m sorry I never let myself see you. But I’m seeing you now, and I don’t think I could ever go back to a world where you’re not the center of it.”

While their road to love is bumpy, it’s worth the ride! Check it out!
