This book!!!! I LOVE a good second chance romance 🫶🏻
Dominic and Elyse had so much chemistry and tension. The way Elyse obviously still cared about and had feelings for Dominic but was trying so hard to not to let it show. The way Dominic never once held a grudge for her ending their relationship the way she did. I was a fan of how long it took them to get back together as well. I’m a sucker for slow burn.
Not only was the romance spectacular but so was all the other stuff. The case Dom was working on kept me intrigued and, once Elyse was pulled into it, I was hooked. The final reveal of who the bad guy was left me shocked. I’m actually so serious my jaw dropped.
The only parts I wasn’t a huge fan of were the flashback chapters. I’m not sure why because normally I don’t mind them
