This probably has to do with the fact that I audio-booked on 2.0x speed while doing other chores throughout the week, but I felt like I had no clue what was going on the second half. Too many mini twists that make you lost if you don't pay close enough attention, which I clearly didnt. Characters kept popping up and leaving and I didnt know where they were half the time. While thats all probably on me, I also didn't care. The first book has cozy fantasy vibes with the haunted house, but this one didnt intrigue me as much.
I'll probably still read the third if it's on KU though.
