Review from Much Loved Books Review-Vanish

I started this book with a bit of hesitation, while I liked Firelight I wasn't too impressed with it and thought it was a bit slow. In the first chapter of Vanish I was hooked. I have read it in one sitting (which is hard as it's on my PC and hurts my eyes if I am on too long) that's how hooked I was with it, only stopping to refuel with coffee.

Without saying too much to give it away, we watch as Jacinda goes back to the pride, the last place she wants to be, and tries to blend back in with society and follow their rules to make them back off from her.

She is demoted from her job and gets assigned a new one, possibly the worst one available, and has to keep herself "meek and mild" and not cause too much upset. She has to live with her Mum and watch her as she struggles to cope with what has happened, not only to Jacinda but also Tamra.

I thought Vanish was a much better paced book with something always going on to keep my attention. The writing is more fluid and actually makes me believe I am really there and part of the action, not only with the pride hostility but also the conflicting emotions Jacinda feels about Cassian and Will, and also her damaged friendship with Azure.

This book is a must read for all fans of Sophie Jordan, I for one will be adding this to my bookshelf.
