This gets 3.5 stars for the nostalgia, my love of ancient history and the kick-ass action sequences of impossible feats in awe-inspiring places. Otherwise this has some truly terrible exposition, so much gosh-darn TELL, truly uncomfortable and outdated gender & racial stereotypes (it is 20yrs old after-all), and a break-neck pace that will give you whiplash. But by Jove this is still such a fun read!
