This book spans across and beyond the timelines of the other two books, so personally it was a little less compelling of a story. The audiobook is great and I definitely recommend it! I just felt like Fionn was kind of a bland character with some allusion to the fact that he was darker on the inside but we didn't really see it. I loved Rose's character though found it harder to suspend my disbelief that she had gotten away with all the murder in her wake, considering how inept she was at covering her tracks and how squeamish she was. I also wish in general that there was more gore like the first two books. I loved the letters towards the end of the book and wish that had been tied in throughout the story.
Graphic: Cursing, Death, Misogyny, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Blood, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Body horror, Gore
Minor: Child abuse
