The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman

5.0

how can i put all this emotion and thoughts into words? TT
throughout the whole book i could feel the cold tingle of magic under my skin. freezing my bone and soul.
the unnamed narrator is seven years old in almost all of the book but it never gets boring and childish for an adult reader.
it's mostly about childhood vs. adulthood, childhood trauma and how our mind blurs and forget for our owns sake. everything is a symbol of something else.
as always gaiman's writing style is amazing. i read some parts along with audiobook.
this story + amazing writing style + gaiman as a narrator = just WOW! (ノ*0*)ノ
