Face-Off at the Altar by Toni Aleo

5.0

OHHH Mizz Toni Aleo, once again you give us one action packed, smoking hot, emotional ride with this one! This book not only gives the swoon moments but it also delves into a dark topic that I felt was handled amazingly.
Mekena is all spit and fire and rightfully so. After everything that happened and being betrayed by the two people she loved the most, who could blame her. But when things come to light, I love how she fought back. How she put her sister in her place and how she fought for Markus. These two were so made for each other. Markus was just wow. When things were out in the open, the swoon worthy man is just wow. Aleo writes yet another man that every women would love to have!
What I really loved about this book is how Aleo took tough tops which as much as people like to deny they exist, they are right there. From drugs, to rape to interracial dating. Aleo conveyed it with such beautiful poise that I found this book to be one of my favorite Assassins one... and Jordie is hard to top!
