Moon Touched
by Elizabeth Briggs
Shifter romances are always so addicting and fun.
The first 5 chapters or so were a bit slow for me and I wasn't sure if I would like the book. But then she finally got kidnapped and I was hooked. Ayla is a pretty good character. I liked seeing her whole training arc. She was a tiny bit annoying at some parts, but nothing too big. Kaden is your fun, mysterious, damaged alpha hero, so we don't know much about him yet, but the tension between them is really freaking good. The training sessions, or the full moon scenes were filled with tension! Also the healing scene had me laughing, but it was also kinda hot xD
This book does feel a bit like an introduction to the series. Some parts were a bit slow and we focused a lot on Ayla, her training sessions and just her overall place in the pack. Which means there isn't much action going on, besides the romantic tension. I feel this series will have lots of plot twists and turns, so I'm not worried. We don't really spend a lot of time with the side characters, so I would love to have some more pack interaction in the next book. Besides that, I'm very curious to see what will happen after the cliffhanger. I just had a really fun time reading this book. I laughed a few times and just couldn't put it down. ow aslo the whole werewolf thing is always fun! Each author always puts their own spin on it and i just love it.
