Monsters: The 1985 Chicago Bears and the Wild Heart of Football by Rich Cohen

5.0

The best book about football and football fandom I've ever read. Doesn't hurt that I've been a Bears fan since I was born. I was only 6 when they won the Super Bowl, so much of the information here is new to me. Cohen has a novelist's eye and stays clear of the pitfalls of the journalist's book about sports. Highly recommended to all readers, but especially to Chicago fans.
