gabsy 's review for:
Anne of Windy Poplars
by L.M. Montgomery
The worst thing about this book is that it comes right after Anne of the Island, and so it inevitably suffers in comparison. It is, however, not as bad as I remembered it to be, potentially because I read it in English this time. Nonetheless, it's a bit of a non-book, in the sense that nothing significant happens to Anne within those 3 years that radically changes her life. It's a nice little interlude in her story.
It cruelly lacks in Gilbert, though.
