QOTD: I know the guy behind Love Language is trash - but do you have a love language?
I definitely love acts of service - especially in my books! So when Darragh “I am a loner” Ryan pines so hard he builds a fairytale treehouse while living alone - I was a sucker for it. I love that he is trying and he is terrified. But let’s not forget our gorgeous toughie Mari who is the epitome of “looks like a cinnamon roll/ could kill you” - who has a giant heart and a remarkable ability to think and feel simultaneously - allowing her to give Darragh the space he needs to really be a part of her life. Also loved the scary parts of this story - and am curious about where it goes next. I found this one much more engaging and fast-paced than book two, and it felt more evenly split with POVs, which I appreciated.
