Inheritance: A Memoir of Genealogy, Paternity, and Love by Dani Shapiro

3.0

I'd read raves about this book, but I didn't care for it. Try as I might to be understanding of her surprise, I was turned off by the author's unwillingness to extend sympathy to her family - both biological and social - who were dealing with heartbreak and surprise of their own. That said, it's a well-written book that I suspect more and more people will relate to as DNA tests become more common.
