I, Robot by Isaac Asimov

  • Plot- or character-driven? Plot
  • Strong character development? No
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

2.5

Asimov was definitely a product of his time. The cast is all cis-het (or robots), and women aren't viewed or represented particularly well.

Aside from that - this is a collection of short stories set in a framework of reminiscence. It tells of the evolution of robots in this universe and the difficulties along the way. I didn't find it particularly great in any way and much prefer his Foundation series.
