Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

3.0

I enjoyed this classic well enough and I enjoyed the whimsy of it but can’t say I loved the experience of reading it. I found the plot during the time of Wendy and the boys being children meandering and scattered. As they grew up it was sad and really reminds you of the frailty of youth and how fast time goes by. I find I prefer the Disney version overall and find Peter Pan and his forgetfulness obnoxious although I understand why his character is the way he is. This won’t ever be a favorite for me but I enjoyed it for what it is.
