The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli

dark informative reflective medium-paced

4.0

Probably five stars if not for the myriad mispronunciations on the pair of audiobooks I tried. Shelly Frasier fared better than Rider Strong, but good lord.
Cesare =/= Caesar
Can people* PLEASE learn to pronounce  names before diving into narration? Rider, you’re pretty and I love your voice, but Lombardy, Genoa (ffs), Medici, and on it went.

Otherwise, this is a solid treatise and it seems clear Machiavelli was familiar with Sun Tzu.
