I also didn't like the language they used, I get that it's smut and it's leaning into bdsm but why use degrading words with a person you won't even establish boundaries/rules with, let alone tell them you're attracted to them. Very much a miscommunication trope and poorly written porn with plot, it's literally 400+ pages for no reason lol
I've read fanfics better than this but at least there were no typos I guess.
