Baseball fans (especially Chicago Cubs fans!) can rejoice now that Sandy Marchetti has hit the ball out of the park with her delightful collection, “Aisle 228” which chronicles her childhood spent watching her beloved Cubs through many seasons of loss to their World Series victory when she was a young adult. Marchetti is a musical poet, and these poems delight the ear with their rhythms and rhymes as she sings her way into our hearts with this lovely anthem for America’s favorite pastime.
