The Unlikely Pursuit of Mary Bennet
by Lindz McLeod
This is perfectly fine, not outstanding and not bad, just straight down the middle. I wasn't a fan of the focus on sexual attraction above all else, it just feels weird to have such a horny romance when it's trying to match Austen. This is already a common issue in recently written romance, they base the relationships off of lust and fail to establish chemistry outside that. This isn't quite that bad, I still believe these women grew fond of each other and I enjoy them together, it's just a little odd to hear her thoughts consistently be based in lust
