What I liked:
-Great leads; FMC is a bold and outspoken painter and daughter of famous artists; MMC is a non-confrontational diplomat viscount. They pair well together.
-Writing, though with some language anachronisms, is strong overall.
-They have a plan to not rush into things given their pasts. You rarely see this in historical romance.

What I didn't like:
-The late plotting is kind of weak, with third act lashing out and jealousy, the arrival of the ex, and some other stuff like that.
-FMC and her sisters are written a bit too blase about sexuality and reputation, even with their bohemian artist parents. Premarital sex, being alone with unmarried men, etc is no big deal for them, except insofar as it involves betrayal of feelings. They shrug at gossip, which is another explanation for their anachronistic attitudes not really landing for me. This is HR with Regency social rules, but the sisters feel excessively modern for young women who walk in the extremely socially conservative Society of the 1810s. Even with the eccentricity of the parents, I feel like both Faith and Charity (dumb names imo) would be completely shunned from all Society events because of their behavior. I like outgoing, brave strong women like the next HR reader, but I think it needs to fit in context.
