She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement by Jodi Kantor, Megan Twohey

5.0

This book traces the story of two NY Times reporters breaking the story of Harvey Weinstein's years of sexual predation and puts that story into the larger context of the Me Too movement, Donald Trump's 22 accusations of sexual harassment and assault, and the hearings that ultimately confirmed Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, despite allegations of sexual assault. Somehow, despite showing that, even in the wake of Me Too, powerful men are still protecting their own, the book left me hopeful. Women are reclaiming their power and telling their stories.
