The Giant's House by Elizabeth McCracken

3.0

"Her parents were in love with each other, and that is a blow a child can never recover from."

My favorite line from the book, and a wonderful premise; however, the love between Peggy and James didn't strike me as the sort to inspire such phrases.

I wanted more, and perhaps a book about a giant invites overly tall expectations.
