Here Ta-Nehisi Coates takes 1 essay he wrote for each year of Obama's presidency and includes an introduction for each to put everything into context. It's incredibly well-written, and one of the hardest things I've read this year. His writing is complex, and the history he recounts, that has been left out of most history books, is horrifying. It's definitely an important read for understanding how we came to the political landscape of today.
