A Pocketful of Happiness: A Memoir by Richard E. Grant

4.0

I got this book out of the library about 24 hours after hearing Richard E. Grant's Desert Island Discs (because I'm very young and fun). It's a memoir but also one of the most vulnerable descriptions of illness, death and grief I've ever read.

I don't normally go for such sad things, but he had a way of stating the facts of his experience of caring for his wife that just make you want to fall apart, then go and squeeze everyone you love and have a good laugh with them.
