The Nobleman's Guide to Scandal and Shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee

5.0

This was a wonderful and perfect conclusion to the Montague Siblings trilogy. Although Monty's book definitely remains the strongest in my opinion, Nobleman's Guide feels like a very well-deserved ending for all three siblings. As I feel with a lot of Mackenzi Lee's books, the plot was a little flimsy at times and the book drags a little around the middle, but all in all it was still quite fun and the character work was more than enough to make up for it, and Nobleman's Guide got me emotional enough to deserve a five-star rating.

I adored seeing Adrian's relationship develop between Monty and Felicity--it was especially a treat to see Monty and Felicity to develop even though this is still certainly Adrian's story. And I loved Adrian himself, who manages to be both the most realistic (and uncomfortably relatable) depiction of anxiety and OCD I've ever seen, and yet never feels as though he's reduced to his mental illness. Basically, I laughed, I cried, I loved it.
